Polar Vortex (PV) is a Masters team based in Chicago. Polar Vortex Masters Team (33 years and older) was established in 2014 and co-won the USAU Nationals Team Spirit Award that same year. Old Man Winter (OMW) and PV practice together and then split in to appropriate age groups to compete in the USAU Masters Series. After the USAU Masters Series, PV and OMW combine as Vortex to compete in tournaments up to and including USAU Sectionals.
